The marathon is being held in Woodstock, CT, on Saturday April 26th, 2025 at 8:00 AM. Bib pickup will be available the night before the race, or day-of and will start at 6:30 AM.

The race will begin at the First Congregational Church 539 CT-169, Woodstock, CT, 06281.
The finish line is at Taylor Brooke Brewery & Winery, 848 CT-171, Woodstock, CT, 06281.

Transportation is offered to runners FROM THE FINISH LINE (Taylor Brooke Brewery) TO THE START LINE THE MORNING OF THE RACE. Runners can sign up here for the morning shuttle.
Relay teams are responsible for their own transportation to and from relay points during the race.
There will NOT be transportation back to the starting line in the afternoon.
The shuttle is serviced by volunteers using their own vehicles.

This year we are able to accommodate 60 runners on the course at once. Individual runners count as 1 slot, and an entire relay team (2-5 people) also counts as 1 slot.
With the total number of relay team runners, and solo runners, there will likely be more than 60 participants throughout the race.

Relay teams may consist of 2-5 runners. Each runner must register and pay individually under the “Relay Team” participation level section of the “Run With Us” page. Please include your team name when registering.
Relay teams will share a bib and exchange it at their corresponding relay points. Relay teams are responsible for their own transportation to and from relay points during the race.
Relay Team as a whole count as 1 slot in the total number of runners. The maximum number of runners on the course will not exceed 60 people, but there will likely be more than 60 participants throughout the race.

Yes! There will be a timing company set up at the start, midway point (clock only), and the end of the race. The timer will provide chipped bibs so that runners will have the most accurate time possible.
Relay teams will share a bib and exchange it at their corresponding relay points. Timing stats will be available post race through the timing company’s website.

Click the following link to visit the Race Map page. The course is hilly and takes place on a number of dirt, and public roads. The route will also be available to sync to your smart watch through Footpath so you can track your progress during the race.
This is course is NOT BAA certified.

Water stations will be set up strategically throughout the course. This is important, we will ensure there are ample water stations. Most of our volunteer coordination efforts go towards water station set up. We are continuously re-evaluating safety for the runners and volunteers, water station locations are as of yet undetermined.

There will be constables at busiest, and “least safe” intersections. Additionally there will be volunteers at every mile to direct runners. Water will be placed throughout the course.
Emergency medical personnel will be active along the route as well as at the finish line. Additional medical support will be on call as well.
There will also be at least one (most likely 2) portable toilet along the race for runners to use.

Those who wish to support the runners on the course are welcome to do so at the START and FINISH lines of the race, as well as strategically chosen locations along the route. The details of these locations will be finalized and made public as soon as possible.

Individual Runners, and Relay Teams will be recognized during the Finish Line Event at Taylor Brooke Brewery immediately following the race. ALL runners will receive a medal to honor and commemorate their participation in the race. Each runner will also receive a “swag bag” with Marathon merch, sponsor gifts, drink ticket(s), and more!

An event will be held at Taylor Brooke Brewery immediately following the race.
A runner’s station will be set up at the finish line with water, gatorade, fruit, and nutrition packets and bars.
There will be food trucks, an exhibition of sponsors, charities, and local businesses. Additionally there will be raffle prize drawings featuring items donated by local businesses. All proceeds will go towards our fundraising goal!

Runners will spend 60% of the time in the second “half” of the course due to greater ascent and slightly longer distance. Considering this skewness, runners must
reach the mid point ~ 13-mi mark at County Rd. and Center Cemetery Rd a time ≤ 3h
